What candidates ask before applying
Is Food Web fully remote?
We are remote-first. Roles are open across Canada and the United States unless a posting says otherwise, and the team works asynchronously with flexible hours.
What is the hiring process?
An intro conversation, a role-specific discussion with the person you would work most closely with, and a short practical exercise related to the actual work. We aim to keep it to two or three conversations.
What if there's no role posted that fits me?
Get in touch anyway. We are a small team and roles are often shaped around the person. Tell us what you would want to own and why local food infrastructure interests you.
Do you take interns or students?
Yes. We have worked with student researchers and accelerator programs before, and internships are posted alongside other roles when they are open.
