# Province-Wide Focus Group Tour (2025) In Spring 2025, Food Web received a grant through LearnSphere’s Commercialization program to engage communities directly. Together with facilitator David Upton, we hosted six focus groups across Nova Scotia, from Cape Breton to Yarmouth, to hear from food entrepreneurs, kitchen managers, economic development officers, and community leaders about the barriers to shared kitchen access.
The insights from this tour shaped the foundation of our Kitchen Rental Platform and validated the need for easier ways to connect kitchens and food makers.
